Code of Conduct

This code applies to everyone taking part in Club de Volleyball AAA activities: players, coaches, volunteers, and visitors. By registering for a club activity, each participant agrees to follow it.

Respect for people

• Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and facility staff with respect.
• No form of violence, intimidation, harassment, or discrimination is tolerated. Zero tolerance.
• Language and behaviour must remain appropriate at all times, on and off the court.

Respect for facilities

• Follow the rules of the institutions hosting the club (partner colleges and schools), including authorized areas, locker rooms, and schedules.
• Wear clean, non-marking indoor court shoes.
• Leave the gym and equipment the way you would want to find them: nets, balls, and gear put away after each session.
• Alcohol, cannabis, and drug use are prohibited during club activities and in the facilities.

Athletic commitment

• Arrive on time and ready to play; notify the coach if you cannot attend.
• Report any injury or dangerous situation to the coach.
• Respect the decisions of coaches and officials; disagreements are discussed calmly, outside of play.

Consequences

A violation of this code may lead, depending on severity and repetition, to a warning, a temporary removal from activities, or exclusion from the club. Situations are assessed by club leadership. Any behaviour endangering the safety of others or compromising the club's access to its facilities may lead to immediate exclusion.
